In a nutshell

As global popstars go, Gwen is a pretty likeable one. When she isn't dancing around with Japanese girls she's busy being a mommy with her great looking British husband. Life surely doesn't get much better than that.

Gwen was always musical, starting off by 'auditioning' for a new band her brother was putting together called No Doubt. Things went pretty well and the band got signed by Interscope Records.

After achieving success with No Doubt the band decided to take a break, so Gwen went away and worked on some solo material. This can sometimes be a dodgy decision because a lot of solo stuff turns out to be rubbish. But...

Love. Angel. Music. Baby. was Gwen's first solo album and contained the smash hit 'What You Waiting For?'.

Gwen has always been known for her 'different' sense of style but, after some initial ridicule, has been named one of the best dressed women in the world by Glamour magazine.

Gwen met her husband, Gavin Rossdale (lead singer with British band, Bush) when No Doubt supported them on tour. They married in 2002 and now have two children.
