Eva Longoria - Biography

Rate: Born in Texas, Eva is definitely one of the most famous females in the world. We've no doubt that she's also pinned up on the walls of thousands of bedrooms around the world but the less said about that, the better.

With three older sisters, Eva grew up on the family farm and has admitted that it was a tough upbringing, as the family didn't have much in the way of money. To show exactly how full-circle she's come, she took viewers of the Oprah Winfrey show around the property in 2006.

Luckily for Eva she wasn't born ugly - a theatrical agent spotted her in LA and signed her up. This lead to roles in plenty of the TV shows we all love to hate; Beverly Hills 90210, General Hospital and The Young and the Restless.

But soap meltdown wasn't for suited to her - as you know, Desperate Housewives hit our screens and really catapulted her to stardom. Playing maneater Gabrielle Solis, Eva won the hearts and minds of males around the world. Now in it's fourth series, the show continues to be successful and the cast signed multimillion dollar deals to keep them on Wisteria Lane.

Despite being able to pick and choose her men, she is now settled with hubbie Tony Parker. He's an NBA basketball star, don't you know. The pair married in July 2007.

You'll currently see Eva biting her way through several ice cream bars - she's just signed a big bucks deal to be the face of Magnum across Europe.

Eva is a massive Spurs fan. But not as we know it... she loves San Antonio Spurs basketball team.
